I hear a squeaking sound when the pusher pad moves.Updated 2 months ago
This is likely due to surface tension, either from the white plastic bars sliding over the metal playfield, or the metal gliders. It can be solved by WD40 or similar lubricant.
Switch OFF the unit when the pusher pad has moved IN all the way. Open the front panel. Remove all coins from the playfield and the pusher pad. Spray a little bit of WD40 or similar lubricant onto the playfield and pusher pad, where the white plastic bars slide over the metal. Close the front panel. Switch ON the unit and listen if the squeaking sound has stopped. Switch OFF the unit when the pusher pad has moved IN all the way again. Open the front panel and remove all excessive lubricant from the metal.
If the sounds persists, you can also try:
Switch OFF the unit when the pusher pad has moved OUT all the way. Remove the power cable from the wall socket. Open the back panel with the keys. There are 2 metal gliders that hold the pusher pad. Spray WD40 or similar lubricant onto both gliders. Close and lock the front and back panel and switch ON the unit. Listen if the squeaking sound has stopped. Switch OFF the unit when the pusher pad has moved IN all the way. Open the front panel and remove all excessive lubricant from the playfield. If the problem persists, contact your distributor.
